What is Holi Festival ?
एक ही तरह का जीवन जीते जीते व्यक्ति उब जाता है। इसके लिए समाज ने अनेक त्योहारों वह मेंलों की व्यवस्था की है। हमारे देश में सभी धर्मों को मानने वाले लोग रहते हैं। सभी के अपने-अपने त्योहार हैं। हिंदुओं के प्रमुख त्योहारों में होली का महत्वपूर्ण स्थान है।
होली मनाने का कारण : होली का त्योहार फाल्गुन पूर्णिमा के दिन मनाया जाता है। बसंत ऋतु के आगमन से चारों ओर वातावरण सुंदर हो जाता है। खेतों में फसलें पकने के लिए तैयार हो जाती हैं। किसान फसलों को देखकर खुश हो उठता है।
उसकी यही खुशी होली के त्यौहार के रूप में फूट पड़ती है। यह भी कहा जाता है कि प्राचीन काल में दैत्यराज हिरण्यकशिपु अपने पुत्र प्रहलाद को ईश्वर का नाम लेने के कारण मारने के लिए उसकी बुआ होलिका को बुलाया।
होलिका को वरदान था कि वह आग में नहीं जलेगी। वह प्रहलाद को गोद में लेकर आग में बैठ गई भगवान की कृपा से प्रहलाद तो बच गए। परंतु होलिका जल गई।
इसी खुशी में प्रतिवर्ष होली मनाई जाती है।
होली मनाने का ढंग : होली का त्योहार क्षेत्रीय परंपराओं के अनुसार मनाया जाता है। गांव मोहल्लों में उपले लकड़ियां एकत्र करके होली रखी जाती है। होली में शुभ मुहूर्त में आग लगाई जाती है। सभी एक दूसरे पर रंग गुलाल डालते हैं। तथा आपस में गले मिलते हैं।
होली में जो एवं गेहूं की बालियां भून कर खाते हैं। तथा एक दूसरे को प्रेम सहित भेंट करते हैं। पुराने गिले शिकवे भूलकर सब एक दूसरे से गले मिलते हैं।
होली की अच्छाइयां : होली का त्योहार परस्पर प्रेम की भावना को बढ़ाता है। होली पर अमीर गरीब का भेद मिट जाता है। सभी में नया उत्साह, नई उमंग, नया जोश दिखाई देता है। सब आपस में गले मिलते हैं।
होली की बुराइयां : होली के त्यौहार के साथ कुछ बुराइयां भी जुड़ी हुई है। इस दिन कई लोग शराब भांग आदि का सेवन करते हैं। और नशे में एक दूसरे से झगड़ा भी कर लेते हैं। रंग लगाने के बहाने कीचड़ आदि भी डाल देते हैं। जिससे स्वास्थ्य पर बुरा असर पड़ता है।
उपसंहार : होली के त्यौहार के साथ जुड़ी यह थोड़ी सी बुराइयां यदि दूर हो जाए। तो इससे अच्छा और कोई त्यौहार नहीं है। होली पाप पर पुण्य की विजय का त्योहार है। यह मेल मिलाप एवं आपसी भाईचारे की भावना को विकसित करता है। आपस के भेदभाव भूलाकर हम सब को होली का त्योहार मनाना चाहिए।
