होली त्यौहार की कहानी : होली हमारे देश के प्रमुख त्योहारों में से एक त्यौहार है। यह त्योहार फाल्गुन मास की पूर्णिमा को मनाया जाता है। ऐसा कहा जाता है कि, प्रहलाद एक भगवान का भक्त था। और प्रहलाद के पिता को इनकी भक्ति अच्छी नहीं लगती थी। और उनके पिता ने उन्हें मारने का बहुत प्रयास किया। लेकिन प्रहलाद नहीं मारा गया। तब इनके पिता को एक उपाय आया कि अपनी बहन होलिका की गोद में बैठाकर आग में जलाने का प्रयत्न किया। होलिका तो जल गई। और प्रहलाद बच गया। तब से यह त्यौहार मनाया जाता है।
होली के दिन : होली के दिन लोग अपने अपने घरों में दुकानों की सफाई करते हैं। और इस दिन मिठाइयां एवं पकवान बनाए जाते हैं। और शाम को होली जलाई जाती है। और इस समय होली को, उपलो की बनाई हुई माला पहनाई जाती है। और लोग अपने दुखों को भूल कर एक दूसरे से मेल मिलाप करते हैं। और खुशियां बांटते हैं। तथा एक दूसरे के रंग लगाते हैं। और कुछ बुरे लोग इस दिन शराब पी कर घूमते हैं। और गाली गलौज करते हैं। और कीचड़ उछालते हैं। इन लोगों के कारण इस त्योहार का रंग फीका पड़ जाता है। यह हमें नहीं करना चाहिए। और जो लोग ऐसे काम करते हैं। उनको समझाना चाहिए कि वह ऐसा काम ना करें।
होली के दूसरे दिन : होली के दूसरे दिन घूलंडी का त्योहार मनाया जाता है। और इस दिन एक दूसरे को गुलाल लगाया जाता है। गुलाल एक प्रकार का गुलाबी रंग है। जो कि होली का प्रमुख रंग माना जाता है। इस दिन लोग एक दूसरे को रंग लगाते हैं। और खुशियां मनाते हैं। और आपसी प्रेम और भाईचारे का संदेश देते हैं। होली का त्योहार हमें प्रेम भावना से मनाना चाहिए।

People paint each other on this day. And celebrate happiness. And give a message of mutual love and brotherhood. Holi festival should be celebrated with love.
